Each piece is crafted in Vâlcea County, Romania, where artisans use locally sourced minerals and clays to create unique earthenware tableware. The intricate decorations are applied using an age-old technique called „jirăvirea“, where cow horns and wooden sticks bring each motif to life. Every plate is shaped on a simple kick wheel, making each one truly individual, with slight variations that showcase the marks of the craftsman.
