We're absolutely delighted to be joining BABLE London at their new Farringdon Studio for our Natural Egg Dyeing Workshop!

For centuries, eggs have symbolised new life and renewal. With Easter approaching, we take inspiration from traditional folklore techniques passed down through generations, exploring the art of natural dyeing to create beautifully coloured eggs.

Join Alice, founder of Casa De Folklore, as she guides you through her childhood memories with this enchanting craft. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transform food waste, vegetables, and spices into stunning, vibrant hues. But the magic doesn’t stop there—you’ll also discover how to decorate your eggs with flowers and leaves, creating intricate, organic patterns that are truly one of a kind.

With expert guidance, you’ll experiment with various techniques to achieve unique textures and designs, from delicate botanical imprints to batik-style patterns using beeswax and handmade tools. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or trying this for the first time, this hands-on workshop is perfect for all skill levels.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful collection of decorated eggs to take home and display with pride, along with the skills and knowledge to practise the craft of egg dyeing at home with your friends and family. It's never too late to start a new tradition!
